In the week before the last of Trinayani, Nayani continues her search for the red pattu, and lands at Subhadra’s house. Kantamma kicks her out of the house and Nayanai finds out through Sumana that Shubhadra’s wedding saree is in red colour. This makes her panic and she tries to warn Subhadra. But all her attempts fail. Finally, the wedding is over and Shubhadra’s newlywed husband tells her about his affair. This makes Shubhadra feel dejected and she decides to die.
Watch the week in short here:
Nayani waits by the riverside because she knows something or the other would bring Subhadra there. Finally, Subhadra comes with a big vessel tied to her waist with a rope. She jumps in and Nayani goes to save her. Kantamma sees this and pledges Nayani to be out of the village before the sunrise.
Tired of the things that Nayani has to go through, Nayani’s mother asks her father-in-law to predict Nayani’s future. He throws a few shells while meditating and sees her future. He tells his daughter-in-law that Nayani has a happy marriage written in her destiny.
Vishal and his family return to the city. He goes to his room and gets upset upon seeing his biological mother’s photos. His aunt tries to console him. But Vishal tells her not to act as if they care and leaves the room.
Tilottama tells Vishal to go back to America because he’s too young to take over the business. Knowing Tilottamma’s intentions, his aunt encourages him to stay here and learn the business, before taking it over.
As Kantamma said, an official announcement goes through the whole of the village asking Nayani to exit the village, for the greater good of its people.
Sumana asks Nayani to fulfil the promise she made. Nayani assures to do it. That’s when Sumana asks her elder sister to leave the village so that they could live peacefully.
At home, Vishal’s father feels apologetic since he couldn’t create a better image of his wife in Vishal’s mind. But that’s when he hears Tilotamma talking to her brother and biological sons.
