Baladur

And, our first pick is Ravi Teja and Anushka Shetty-starrer Baladur. This 2008 comedy drama also features yesteryear heroes Krishna and Chandra Mohan. The story revolves around Chanti who is loved by everyone in the family. But due to one small misunderstanding, he gets kicked out of the house. How his love interest helps him in reuniting with his family forms the crux of the story.

Ganesh Just Ganesh

With Ram Pothineni and Kajal Aggarwal taking the lead, Ganesh Just Ganesh is a 2009 romantic drama. What happens when a silly prank of pretending to love someone becomes your reality? More importantly, how will things be when the person you genuinely love assumes it to be a pretence all along? That’s the story of this film.

Bendu Apparao R.M.P

Where there is Allari Naresh, there is comedy. Bendu Apparao R.M.P is yet another hilarious film by the actor alongside Kamna Jethmalani, Meghana Raj and Krishna Bhagavaan. The story is about Bendu Appa Rao, who happens to be a fake doctor-cum-money extortionist. However, one event causes the tables to turn and he walks on the right path to fulfill his responsibility. Full of hilarious failures and punchlines, this film is highly entertaining.

Seetha Ramula Kalyanam Lankalo

Seeta Ramula Kalyanam Lankalo is a 2010 Telugu action-drama starring Nitin and Hansika Motwani. On the surface, this film seems to be a template girl-meets-boy love story. But it has been packaged extremely well with good dialogues, catchy music and of course, two good-looking actors.

Ashta Chamma

Natural Star Nani pairs up with Swathi Reddy and Srinivas Avasarla in the 2008 hit film, Ashta Chamma. If you still think what’s in a name, this movie clears all doubts. If you have already seen it, you know what we’re talking about. Marking the debut of Nani, this film has come to be a cult favourite romantic-comedy.

Takkari

Takkari is a 2007 action-comedy starring Nithin and Sadha. Named Tirupathi, Nithin’s character is an intense fella from a poor family. Ranga the Donga

Starring upcoming ZEE5 Original Chadarangam actor Meka Srikanth plays the titular role in Ranga the Donga. The 2010 drama is essentially a modern-day Robin Hood tale. However, this film is a lot stronger and risqué than our childhood stories.

Nenu Meku Telusa

Manchu Manoj’s Nenu Meeku Telusa is an interesting and gripping thriller, released in 2008. The film also stars Sneha Ullal and Riya Sen. The story revolves around a man with amnesia and how disorder becomes the founding ground for his girlfriend to frame him for murder.
