In the Telugu TV show Muddha Mandaram, the lead characters Abhi and Soundarya (played by Pavan Sae and Thanuja Gowda) are yet to come face-to-face with Akhiladeswari (played by Haritha). The college annual function seemed to be the day when Abhi, Soundarya, Akhilandeswari would come across each other, or at least have a little eye contact. For the uninitiated, Abhi happens to be Deva and Parvathi’s son and Soundarya happens to be Parvathi’s niece. Abhi and Soundarya, the bava–mardal, study in the same college. As fate would have it, Akhilandeswari is in search of both of them for an entirely different reason.
Watch what happened in the last episode:
Akhilandeswari has been desperately waiting to watch the play Varundhini Pravarakhya because it features Soundarya and Abhi as the lead characters. After a long wait, they finally present themselves on the stage. But call it their bad day or misfortune, Akhilandeswari fails to witness their performance. As time comes close, she sits down with much excitement and tries to look through the smoke on stage. But as soon as Abhi starts reciting his opening lines, she is disturbed by a phone call from Chandra Shekar. Akhilandeswari tries to catch a glimpse of Soundarya, but Shekar seems to be in a hurry.
Finally, Akhilandeshwari exits the auditorium to find out the reason behind Shekar’s concern. He starts the conversation by saying ‘I am sorry, madam!’ and this scares the matriarch. On asking what had gone wrong, once again, he tells her that the same thief had come to the office and had taken away liquid cash with himself, worth Rs 25,000 crore. Akhilandeshwari expresses her disappointment in her staff and anger at the thief. Shekar confirms that the thief knew the name and the secret code that was assigned to their staff only.
One more point for Abhi and one more reason for worry for Akhilandeswari. At least, Gani will be happy that his daughter is safe from his worst nightmare. Stay tuned for more such updates.
