Earlier in Prema Entha Madhuram, Anu practises her speech while drying the washed clothes. A lady comes and cautions Anu’s mother about a big change in her life. Anu takes the lunch for her father, and sees him being the butt of three women’s jokes. He tells her to laugh it off and focus on her speech. Anu’s father gives her the same Rs. 50 note, which his wife had given him for breakfast, to travel in an auto. Arya, who decides to travel on a bicycle suffers a puncture and stops Anu’s auto.

In today’s episode, the auto driver suggests Anu let Arya come as a co-passenger, so she could split the fare. Anu keeps practising her speech when Arya points out a correction. But not knowing who the person next to her was, Anu asks him to mind his own business. On a signal, a fakir baba comes to their rickshaw and blows the smoke on Arya’s face, telling him that the girl next to him will change his life. When the reach near the college gate, Anu pays her share but Arya has no money to give.
Annoyed of trying to find a solution, Anu pays the whole amount and takes the Rs. 2 change from the auto-driver. Anu walks ahead and sees Arya behind her. Although their destination was the same, Anu feels like he is following her. Anu goes inside the building and sees her gatekeeper stop Arya, because lied about being the chief guest. Arya steps away happily and returns with his entourage, in a changed costume, a few minutes later. Anu sees her mistake and starts being nervous. When the gatekeeper releases his mistake, he apologies. But Arya commends him for being dutiful, gives him a gift and also asks for a photograph.
Finally, the event starts and Anu goes to the stage to welcome Aryavardhan. Given her fright and nervousness, she stutters. Many students sitting in the audience take this as an opportunity to bully her. Anu completes her speech somehow and prepares to step down, but she stumbles upon wires. Arya stands up and asks her to wait. He joins her on the stage and addresses the youngsters by recalling how he passed comments on winners during his college days. He, then, goes on to talk about how it takes guts and strength to be the standing on the other side. He compliments Anu for her strength and extends his hand, Anu looks at him dumbfounded.
