In the Telugu TV show Ninne Pelladatha, the week starting June 24 2019 has been a tough one for its lead character and our favourite Mrudula (played by Madhubala). Hatred surrounded Mrudula from all sides and even in her biggest achievement, Mrudula was shedding tears of sadness. She found comfort in her husband, Madhu (played by Abhi Prathap), as usual though. We break it all down to bits below.
You can also watch the week in short here:
Mansi (played by Sree Priya) is sitting, lost in thoughts, in her bedroom when Mrudula walks in. She tries to remind Mansi of the good old days when they wanted to have a grand wedding together and be the coolest of all brides. She tries to feed Mansi, but in vain.
Mansi turns to Mrudula and bashes her for snatching the man of her dreams and then talking about their grand wedding plans. Mrudula tries to convince Mansi about her upcoming wedding by giving her hope for a better and happier tomorrow.
That’s when Bharati walks in and yells at Mansi for still being hung up on Madhu. She tells Mansi that Mrudula has decided to bear the brunt of her anger only to ensure that Mansi does not stay hungry. But Mansi asks Mrudula and her mother, Bharati, to leave her alone.
Mansi throws the engagement ring on the floor and Sarayu makes an entry. She tries to explain to Mansi that she must keep her stupidity with her, now that their plans have flopped. Mansi tells Sarayu that it’s suffocating to wear the ring.
Just as Sarayu feared, Mansi’s father comes into her room and sees the ring lying on the floor. He asks her to wear it and never take it off again. She does as asked but cringes internally. Once he leaves, Sarayu starts cursing Mrudula for getting out of their wicked plans easily.
The next day, Mrudula and Madhu go for a job interview. Mrudula makes the cut as the next CEO of a company and Madhu happily takes the opportunity to work under her for providing technical support to the firm.
Madhu sees through Mrudula’s smile and tells her that she isn’t entirely happy despite getting such a big opportunity. Mrudula tells him that it’s because she has made everyone in the house proud. Yet her mother has to live without her husband, unhappily.
The media questions Brahmini about Mrudula’s success in an interview. She is at a loss of words. The media takes advantage of this hesitation and asks her about her personal relationship with Mrudula.
Bharati and Tarun watch the interview on TV. They talk about how Brahmini must reduce her hatred and accept Mrudula, now that she has earned a name for herself. But Mansi is certain that Brahmini really wants to take Madhu away from her.
The same media interviews Mrudula and she gives a warm and welcoming response. When asked about her personal equation with Brahmini, Mrudula fiercely tells them that now things may be better. But she will ensure that she wins her mother-in-law’s heart.
Once the couple returns home, Tarun compliments Madhu for taking up a job that’s less significant than his wife’s. He takes pride in their love and taunts Mansi. Mrudula defends by saying that Mansi is the foremost person to be credited for her success.
Tarun, along with his parents, decides to speak to Brahmini and change her views about Mrudula. The next morning, they land up at her house but Brahmini refuses to accept her.
