In the week before the last in Ninne Pelladatha, Mrudula sees Krishna Prasad performing the Bhoomi-Poojan with Kanakam. She meets him on the terrace that night, and confronts him. Krishna Prasad tells her the truth about his second-marriage. Brahmini calls Bharati and Arjun Prasad to suggest that they celebrate Mrudula and Madhu’s first wedding anniversary at home. Bharati realises that they do not have the money to spend, but Arjun promises that he will use his knowledge and earn the lifestyle that they were used to live, once again.
Now, watch the week in short here, from 6 January 2020 to 11 January 2020:
Kanakam comes to stop Brahmini’s Bhoomi-Poojan. Mrudula tries to cover up for her father-in-law, who stands silently in a corner. Brahmini argues that Kanakam’s papers are fake and she does not have any right over her (Brahmini’s) land.
Brahmini demands Krishna Prasad to say something, anything at all. That’s when he steps forward and kindly asks Kanakam to leave. But she threatens to tell Brahmini the truth about her relationship with him. At the same time, Krishna Prasad steps behind again.
Mrudula sees Madhu deep in thoughts, disturbed and concerned. She thinks it’s a good idea to talk about Madhu’s father’s second marriage. However, she drops the idea, thinking that he wouldn’t be able to handle it.
A few days later, everyone goes to Arjun and Bharati’s house to celebrate the wedding anniversary. There, Madhu finds a moment of solitude with Mrudula. He ends up complaining about everyone, in order to get close to her. But they all step inside and ruin their moment.
Later that night, Brahmini and Bharati help Mrudula get ready for the function. She slips and hurts her toe, which bleeds profusely. Bharati and Mansi rush to help ease the pain for her, and end up crying too. Mrudula feels overwhelmed by their love and thanks them.
As Mrudula and Madhu see the Arundhati Nakshatram, Mali comes and disrupts their happiness. She accuses Brahmini of hiding and kidnapping Kanakam. This irks Brahmini, who slaps Mali and asks her to leave.
The next day, Kanakam sees Brahmini in the temple and fights with her. Brahmini threatens to kill and holds the mangalasutram in her hand. Kanakam takes this opportunity and tells Brahmini that they share Krishna Prasad and his property.
