As expected, in the Telugu TV show Ninne Pelladatha, Mrudula (played by Madhubala) found her way back home. She had been disguised as a local villager, Sampangi. It was in this guise that she was taking care of her unconscious husband, Madhu (played by Abhi Prathap). Of course, their chemistry sparkled even then. Eventually, Sampangi couldn’t hold herself back when her husband, Madhu, was bidding goodbye to her once again. She clung to him and refused to let him go, for a few minutes until she was ‘slapped back’ to reality, quite literally. One of the villagers and an elderly man slapped Sampangi for getting physically close to an unknown man. Madhu defended and rescued Sampangi, along with the young girl Jablilli, and brought them home.
Watch what magic Sampangi spills in the Kovalmudi house:
In the spoiler for the episode airing on August 13, 2019, we see that Brahmini, Madhu, Mansi (played by Sree Priya) and Gaurav are sitting at the dining table. Sampangi and Jabilli are standing on either side of Brahmini, who tastes the food and looks at Sampangi, in awe and admiration. She tells her that her food tastes great. But Brahmini being Brahmini, also has a few tough questions. She asks Sampangi how she got to know what everyone’s favourite dishes are. More importantly, she asks how Sampangi managed to cook all the meals in such a short span of time. Considering Sampangi’s silence, Mansi’s mind starts brewing stories.
Before anyone else can, Mansi is the first one to tell Madhu to ‘take them away’. Since she had seen the fate of keeping ‘poor people’ close to family, Mansi does not want to go through the same situation again. But Madhu and Brahmini are convinced about letting them stay as they helped Madhu survive. First Sarayu’s (played by Sarayu Roy) unnecessary rage and now, Mansi’s inquisitive mind… will Mrudula be able to survive as Sampangi for long?
