In the Telugu TV show Muddha Mandaram, if Deva and Parvathi’s death hit anyone hard, it has to be Akhilandeswari (played by Haritha). Even 20 years after the death of her elder son and daughter-in-law, she doesn’t lead a life devoid of the pain. Now, it seems that the old memories and wounds are about to open up. Akhilandeswari has no idea about Soundarya (played by Thanuja Gowda) and Abhinandan’s (played by Pavan Sae) real identities. Although she interacted with them, she had never seen them. Finally, she gets a glimpse of Abhinandan. Watch what happens in the next episode:
Akhilandeswari comes to the temple with Krish and Bhavani to host a pooja for the well-being of her family. But more importantly, she wants to seek blessings to find Gani, Parvathi’s younger brother, soon. Gani, Soundarya, Sarsu and Chandrika are also at the same temple at the same time. When he sees Akhilandeswari, Gani tries to keep Soundarya away from her. Surya and Abhi, too, are present in the temple, but never come across Akhilandeswari. Throughout the pooja and during the day, the only thing on Akhilandeswari’s mind is to find Gani and bring him home. She prays for the same at night during the last prayer of the day.
During the last prayer, also called the Chandra Darshanam, Akhilandeswari prays and waits to see the moon’s reflection in the water, which signifies that her prayer and wish will come true. Instead, she sees a reflection of Abhi, and thinks she has seen ‘Pedda Babu’. This makes her believe that it’s a sign from god that Pedda Babu is trying to reach out to her.
Akhilandeswari tells herself that Deva may be alive or maybe he has taken a second birth just to come back to his mother. What will happen next? Stay tuned to know more.
