Watch the film here:
Nagavalli is a 2010 horror-comedy film with a great-looking cast. Venkatesh takes the lead, while Anushka Shetty, Kamlinee Mukherjee, Richa Gangopadhyay, and Shradha Das follow the trail. Not to forget, Brahmanandam also adds his personal touch in making the film a success. Nagavalli is meant to be a sequel to Rajinikanth and Jyothika’s iconic 2005 horror flick, Chandramukhi.
The film begins when an old artist hangs himself after decorating an iconic painting, Nagavalli. Years later, this painting is gifted to a classical dancer and that’s how it gets a new house. Soon after its entry, things start to go beyond imaginable and normal. Having tried several ways, the family decides to station the painting in a storeroom and lock their daughter in a shed, because of her unnatural behaviour.
That’s when the man of the hour, Venkatesh, makes an entry. Just like Rajinikanth in Chandramukhi, Venkatesh’s character is that of a world-famous psychologist, who assures getting rid of any mental issue or negative energy. However, during his stay, he finds out that the problem needs more than his knowledge to be solved. That’s when a well-known priest comes into the picture. How the traditional and modern forces join hands to get rid of a problem is the crux of the story.
