In the Telugu TV show Kalyana Vaibhogam, looks like Nithya (played by Meghana Lokesh) has finally left Jai (VJ Sunny) and Manga (also played by Meghana Lokesh) on their own. After a long time, Jai and Manga have been able to start their life as a couple, afresh. Yet we have a constant worry at the back of our minds. Will Manga be able to live this happy life that she so deserves? Will she rid the Suryadevara family of their generational curse?
Nithya loved Jai and wanted to spend her life with him. But after she learnt about the curse in his family that has been killing newlywed brides, she decided against marrying him. But because it was too late to cancel the wedding, she just got Manga, her lookalike, to replace her and used her as her bait to cover up until the curse was over. Out of guilt, Manga revealed her true identity and has since borne the brunt of it.
Just when we thought that Nithya stepping out of Jai and Manga’s life for good is going to let the couple live in peace, more problems seem to have cropped up. Now, not only Nithya but Jai’s uncle and aunt Chandrika and Srinivas are also counting the time for Manga’s death from the same curse. But instead of waiting for her to die, Chandrika has been chalking up schemes to ensure Manga’s early death. Recently, she spilled oil outside Manga’s room and near the staircase. Chandrika’s obsession with this gave her even gave her daydreams of Manga slipping, falling and dying because of her plan.
But what actually happened in the episode telecast on May 6, 2019, is quite different. We see that Swaroopa, Nithya’s mother, manages to catch Manga and holds her as she slips, saving her life. Everybody thanks god and their stars for saving Manga. But will Manga really manage to defeat the Suryadevara family’s generational curse? Our best guess is to hope that her love for Jai and seamless strength will keep saving her until the curse dies itself. What do you think?
