1. Talking about modesty...
Vijay Deverakonda is a name you identify with success and power. The actor stepped into the big world of showbiz by chance and, clearly, has become the reigning star. With varied genres of films, he has established that there is nothing that he cannot do. Just like his characters, Vijay too believes in speaking his mind.
When asked about his preference in speaking about his success and achievements, the actor said in an interview, “Self-confidence is an important element of success. I find no fault if an actor has self-possession to express his feelings, confidence about his film and stand by his words. I sincerely feel these are admirable and necessary for everyone.”
2. Talking about personal well-being
Most people these days believe in hustling hard and partying harder. In this endless hustle, somewhere we overlook other aspects that are equally, if not more, important. This man has understood the value of it all. He said in an interview, “If I have to keep myself going, I should get enough time to rejuvenate myself. As I’m young, my body is enduring this pain, but I shouldn’t take it for granted.“
3. Talking about choices...
We live in a society that frowns upon you when you do not have crystal clear answers about yourself or when your answers do not fit the typecasts. Vijay has openly embraced all his flaws and imperfections. “I’ve been a confused soul since childhood. I’m comfortable making mistakes and have no problem taking the blame for my wrongdoing. But if someone tries to blame me for their mistakes, that I don’t entertain,” the actor affirmed in an interview.
4. Talking about tough situations
Life becomes a lot simpler the moment you realise that the popular saying, “when the going gets tough, the tough get going”, is all psychological. The actor, who tasted stardom all at once with one film, has also seen bad days. He said in an interview: “It’s okay. Life needs drama and as I’ve said in the past, I’m a warrior“. That is the attitude we all must abide by.
5. Talking about criticism
Vijay calls himself a ‘rowdy’ because he truly feels that the word resembles his personality. And this rowdy knows what he wants and how. He said in an interview: “I’m open to constructive criticism, but people should refrain from dictating terms to me.” People, better remember this.
6. Talking about fandoms...
Vijay has been associated with a bunch of films that ranked high at the box office and remain a top favourite with viewers. Yet he feels that all his stardom does not make sense. “To be honest, I don’t know what to do with it. I’m glad that these guys like me or admire me, and I can assure them that they are in good hands. They are idolising the right person.” Despite having a tough time dealing with the new found attention and love, Vijay is embracing it all.
