Muddha Mandaram saw its grand closure after five long years of successful airtime. The Telugu serial introduced us to many interesting characters, some of them we love and some we hated. Most of them, however, continue to be etched in our memories. The pillar of the show, on and off the screen, is Akhilandeswari. She remains the most powerful woman we saw on screen. Here are a few moments that we cannot erase from our memory.
Watch an episode of the show here:
The lady ruled markets and her home too. But she was full of love, and her family was the backbone of her success. At one of most crucial points, she lost her elder son and daughter-in-law in a terrible accident. Despite all the tragedy, she did not let anyone or anything shake her might.
Karma always comes around. That’s something that we all keep hearing every now and then. In Akhilandeswari’s case, it was her good deeds, her strong might and pure heart always led her close to people who mattered.
One word is all it takes for Akhilandeswari to get something done. Even Bhavani, who loves blabbering incessantly, shuts up when Akhilandeswari calls her name.
Once in a temple, Akhila decided to fund the grand pooja and celebrations out of goodwill. But her stature is such that the priests decide to wait for her arrival before starting with the celebrations.
Akhilandeswari always has a way to reach where she wants. The path may be longer and unknown, but you can count on her to show you the light.
If she makes her mind, you better believe that she will make sure it’s done, too. Despite all the obstruction and negativity, Akhila managed to bring Gani, Sarsu and Soundarya to her house, just as she announced to do.
A wealthy person would always love their wealth. That’s where Akhilandeswari stands out. When she found out that her estranged grandson planned to steal Rs 100 crore, she made the pathway easier for him to do it.
Akhilandeswari is the one to call shots, it could be a wedding celebration or a crime scene. There is no opposition to her word. And just like that, she tried to redeem herself and apologise to her grandson.
