1. Wants the best for you
Venkatesh and Trisha-starrer Aadavari Matalaku Ardhalu Verule remains a top favourite even after a decade. That is because we can connect with the characters in so many ways. The Telugu film features the best of Tollywood, and they all seem completely real. We list five scenes featuring veteran actor Kota Srinivas Rao, who plays the role of Venkatesh’s character Ganesh’s father, which will remind you of your parent.
No matter how bitter or sweet the relationship between you and your parents is, they will always want the best for you. Even when they act like they don’t care, they actually do pray for the best.
2. Accepts the 'drunk' you
3. Always available for moral support
It really doesn’t matter how much you speak to your parents. It doesn’t matter how well they respond to your words. But one cry of help and they’ll happily move the world for you. Ganesh only murmurs that if there was someone to accompany him to the interview, it’ll be great. The next thing he knows, his father is silently standing by the door, praying for his son to perform well.
4. Takes every opportunity to embarrass you
Fact remains, parents will take every opportunity to embarrass you in front of your friends, colleagues or even random people on the streets. Ganesh’s father is no different. Despite Ganesh telling his father that he has cleared the interview, his father calls out to his interviewer, Kirti (Trisha), and asks if he has really bagged the job.
5. Makes you wait but gives the pocket money anyway
Remember the endless number of times you asked for something, sometimes pocket money, and your parents made you wait for it? That happens to be universal too. Even at the age of 30, when Ganesh has to ask for money, his father makes fun of him, enjoys a good laugh and then leaves more than enough money for him.
