1. Loses hope easily
Aadavari Matalaku Ardhalu Verule is a decade-old Telugu film which still resonates with its audiences. It gave us characters who weren’t too likeable at the beginning of the film. But by time the Telugu movie ended, you will find yourself empathising with them, as though you have known them and their struggles all along. We take a look at five qualities of Venkatesh’s character, Ganesh, that make him so relatable.
Ganesh is just another unskilled graduate trying to find his place in the world, even a decade after graduation. He keeps trying, no doubt. But after all the rejection he faces, there is barely any hope left in him. Just like him, most people lose hope sooner than later.
2. Stay focused
Once you make your make to achieve something, half the battle is won. Exams, marathons or championships, unless you make up your mind, nothing will work in your favour. Similarly, Ganesh had lost all hope but the thought that a job can take him closer to the girl he loves kept driving him successfully until he actually bagged one.
3. Hard working
Ego is for real! And sometimes it works in our favour, too. In the initial few days of his job, Ganesh manages to displease his senior Kirti, also the girl he loves. After getting a earful from her, Ganesh decides to right all his wrongs. Even if that requires him to pull an all-nighter at the office. Relatable, isn’t it?
4. Little joys
The relationship between Ganesh and his father in the film, played by Kota Srinivas Rao, is complicated but also common. The father-son duo wants the best for each other. They are willing to do what it takes for it as well. But when it comes to expressing their emotions and gratitude, they find it difficult. But sometimes all it takes is sharing a drink together or quarreling over TV channels.
5. Friendship first
Ganesh believes that his world is finally shaping into something better. But before it can be perfect, everything comes crashing down. The only source of hope and laughter are his friends. In fact, the girl he loves is all set to marry his best friend and he has to be present at the wedding. Yet Ganesh smiles and hides all his feeling for the girl and truly wants the best for his friend. Bro-code, much?
