1. Rude but helpful
The handsome hunk, Ali Reza, plays Vamsi in the popular Telugu TV show Maate Mantramu. Reza previously played Arjun in Zee Telugu’s Pasupu Kumkuma. Unlike real life, Ali’s character Vamsi is arrogant and a rich brat. If you watch closely enough, you will realise that there is more to Vamsi in the Telugu serial than what people think of him.
Vasundhara, played by Pallavi Ramisetty, is constantly trying to make the life of people around Vamsi easier by making Vamsi value them. However, for a reason that’s unknown, Vamsi is always rude to Vasundhara. But when the situation calls for help, Vamsi is always there for her.
2. Arrogant but understanding
From time to time, Vamsi involves himself in events that he isn’t proud of later. And when another person tries to explain that to him, Vamsi opts to be arrogant. He says and does things that will hurt people. But deep down in his heart, Vamsi understands the need to take care of his people.
3. Sarcastic but caring
Everyone in the house knows that one of the most important agendas in Vasundhara’s life is to make sure that Vamsi and his family live happily. Despite being aware of that, Vamsi doesn’t like her. They never talk to each other politely. However, in spite of being sarcastic, they also care for each other.
4. Acting different. Feeling different
In Maate Mantramu, we see the characters are thinking out loud and talking without filters. But that’s not the case with Vamsi. He is an emotional person who needs to be taken care of. And what we see is an arrogant person who does not care for anyone or anything.
5. When he sheds his layers...
A vulnerable Vamsi is a rare sight. But the tough guy has moments when he is feeling low and helpless. That is when we get to see who Vamsi really is. He misses his ‘heart friend’ and wants her back. But instead, he is trying to fill the void by doing things that he knows will not help.
