1. Allow yourself to feel your emotions
The latest ZEE5 original film, Ala, is a coming-of-age story and is told to us through a bunch of youngsters. Throughout this Telugu film, we come across many instances that teach us a lesson for life. Sometimes, we must take a step back from the mundane life and take a deeper look at ourselves.
Some popular sayings passed on to us from generations include ‘men don’t cry’ and ‘man up’. But they do no good. We have come centuries ahead and the only thing we need to really do to ‘human up’. Feel all the things that come your way — hunger, cravings, happiness, goofiness, grief and everything in between. If you really want to be strong, don’t suppress your emotions, embrace them.
2. Talking helps
Everyone has secrets. And no, ‘two can keep a secret if one of them is dead’ is not true. Share your deepest and darkest thoughts. You never know, you’re not the only one feeling something or thinking something. Maybe it’s as common as breathing. Talk! Talk! Talk! That’s the easiest way to come up with solutions and deal with problems.
3. There are endless chances
Every day is a new chance to do something — maybe for the first time or maybe for the nth time. It really does not matter how many times you fall, because we all keep falling. The only thing that counts is how many times you get back up.
4. Life is too short to not live it
In life, we all have moments when living another day seems to be an impossible task. And guess what? It’s just a thought which will pass away in some time. You know what remains? The whole of your life ahead. Keep doing it. Live life one day at a time.
5. The whole universe is with you
The universe conspires to make whatever you wish for happen. All you have to do is believe in what you want — truly and completely. With some effort and dedication on your end and a whole lot of belief in the universe, life will be as magical as we imagined it to be.
