1. Keeping it clean and classy
In the Telugu TV show Muddha Mandaram, Parvathi may be long gone, but she isn’t forgotten. Played by actor Thanuja Gowda, Parvathi soon became a household favourite and continues to be loved and remembered by her fans. The simplicity, the honesty and kindness are what came to define her. Now, although her reincarnation, Soundarya has taken over the reins, we decided to take a look back at this iconic television character.
Unlike most women these days, Parvathi preferred keeping it simple on the outside while she decorated the soul with the best of deeds. Her make-up was limited to a hint of blush and nude lipsticks. Yet she looked glamourous. Wouldn’t you agree?
2. Of plains and prints
3. Signature hairstyle
We know one thing that people miss the most is Parvathi’s perfectly done hairstyle. And here’s proof. It isn’t too difficult to achieve it either. Get started with a nicely done hair poof and then follow it up with a nice and long French braid.
4. Minimalistic approach
Akhilandeswari (played by Haritha) loves her jewellery. But Parvathi ditched them all. She opted for simple gold earrings, a single glass bangle or gold kada in each hand and her mangalsutra. Minimalism is the way forward, they say.
5. The evergreen smile
Last and most important. What we all fell for, about Parvathi, is her endearing and honest smile. There is no way that you could look at it and not skip a heartbeat.
