It went on to become the highest grossing Telugu film, after Indra, when it was released.
A 1991 action comedy, this is one of the Megastar’s superhits in Hindi where he plays a double role. It also stars Vijayshanti and Radha in lead roles. Chiranjeevi is the story of Kaali, a small-town thug who’s somewhat like Robin Hood, robbing the rich to help the poor. He gets killed accidentally and on reaching hell, argues with Yamraj about his death. Is he sent back to earth? Watch to find out.
